Directory Terms of Use
The Loomis Chaffee School is committed to preserving the privacy of alumni and friends. The Loomis Chaffee website has both public and private areas. LC Online is the password protected section of the site and contains secure areas that enable alumni to connect with each other. Services include the alumni directory, and profile management for updating and submitting contact information..
The alumni directory offers the ability for all alumni to suppress publication of their data on a field-by-field basis.
This directory is for official School use and also for individual communication of a personal nature between the members listed herein. Use of this directory for any other purpose, including but not limited to, reproducing and storing in a retrieval system by any means, electronic or mechanical; photocopying; or using the addresses or other information contained in this directory for any private, commercial or political mailing is strictly prohibited.
The information on this site will not be used for any commercial or philanthropic purpose not directly connected with and approved by the School; nor will copies be made; nor will the original information or facsimile be given, lent, or sold to any other individual or organization.
The use of cookies is limited to store an active login session to enhance the experience of the visitor who goes back and forth between the public and the private, password-protected area of the site. We do not store personal preferences, personal information or pages visited on the site in cookies.
When an alumnus/a subscribes to an email list or provides an email address for other purposes, his or her email address is recorded. That address is used for sending out future mailings via email. That address may also be used for general announcements. The email address of a subscriber will never be disclosed to an outside party without permission.
Use of Links
Throughout our webpages, we provide links to other servers which may contain information of interest to our readers. We take no responsibility for, and exercise no control over, the organizations, views, or accuracy of the information contained on other servers. Creating a text link from your Web site to our site does not require permission. We are committed to the privacy of all our donors and to those making any kind of transaction via the website. Should you decide to make an online donation or purchase, you will be asked to provide your name, contact information and credit card billing information. Credit card billing information is used only to obtain payment from the appropriate credit card firm and to fulfill the donor's or purchaser's request, and is not stored or otherwise retained by the school after the transaction is complete.

We use personally identifying information from email primarily to respond to your requests. We may forward your email to other employees who are better able to answer your questions.
